Policy

Privacy

This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: the site has no contact forms, runs no advertising or analytics, and sets no cookies of its own.

What this covers

Section 01

This policy applies to theunheldquestion.com. It does not cover other websites linked from here, or the separate scheduling tool used to book calls, each of which keeps its own privacy policy.

Information you give directly

Section 02
  • Email. When you write to hello@theunheldquestion.com, that message and your address are received and kept so the conversation can continue.
  • Booking a call. The “Book a discovery call” button opens NeetoCal, a third-party scheduling service. Anything you enter there — your name, email, and a note about what’s stuck — is handled by NeetoCal under its own privacy policy and shared back for the purpose of holding the appointment.
  • Working together. If we begin an engagement, any notes or materials exchanged are covered by the confidentiality terms of that engagement, not by this website policy.

Information collected automatically

Section 03

Like almost every website, this one runs on a web server that keeps standard access logs. A log entry may include your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. These logs are used only to keep the site running and secure. They are not combined with any other information or used to identify you.

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. To serve the fonts, Google receives the IP address of the request. Google states it does not use these requests to build a profile or to serve advertising. No other third-party content is embedded in the pages.

Your browser’s local storage

Section 04

The practice-library tools save your in-progress work in your own browser, using local storage, so that a refresh doesn’t lose it. That content never leaves your device and is never sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes it, and each tool also has its own control to clear the work.

How information is used

Section 05
  • To reply to you and, if it’s a fit, to arrange and carry out coaching work.
  • To operate, maintain, and secure the website.
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

Information is not used for advertising, and is not sold or rented. It is never shared except with the service providers named in this policy — web hosting, email, and scheduling — or where the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

Section 06

This website sets no cookies and includes no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no social-media trackers. Third-party services you actively open from here — the scheduling tool, an external link — may set their own cookies once you are on their site.

How long information is kept

Section 07

Email correspondence is kept for as long as there is a reason to keep it — an active conversation, an ongoing or recently completed engagement, or a record needed for tax or legal purposes — and is then deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period on a rolling basis. You can ask to have your correspondence deleted sooner; see the next section.

Your choices

Section 08

You can ask what correspondence is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing to hello@theunheldquestion.com. Requests are honoured within a reasonable time, subject to any records that must be kept for legal or accounting reasons. You can also limit what is collected simply by not sending it — the site works without it.

Security

Section 09

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Email and scheduling are handled by established providers with their own safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so this cannot be guaranteed — but the amount of information involved is deliberately small.

Children

Section 10

The site is meant for working adults and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Other websites

Section 11

Links to other sites — a scheduling tool, a social profile, an external resource — are provided for convenience. Once you leave theunheldquestion.com, this policy no longer applies, and the other site’s policy governs.

Changes to this policy

Section 12

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes will be noted plainly rather than slipped in.

Contact

Section 13
